I've been finding a lot of old songs on this site, and you can check out all the songs I added to favorites. Usually it's the ones posted between 2003 to 2010, you have no idea what you're missing out, playing stuff 20 to 15 years later. Yes most of the songs here are quite basic but worth hearing, thats sort of the whole idea of NG. It's always good to discover music stuff the classic way, not through Geometry Dash, even if GD brought me to NG. I do use GD just because I have quick access to listen to the songs, I don't play the game as much anymore.

Don't forget this: Every time I see the year 2003, Defcon Zero by PX9 always pops in my head.

I just noticed May 1st is Pico Day. I've heard the term "Pico Day" few times and I'm guessing every May 1st, we celebrate that day. I don't know much about that celebration but I do know Pico who is a boy with orange hair in a green jacket. Im mostly here for music purposes. I've heard the name "Newgrounds" since 2009, from playing those flash games, but never heard much about it until 2014.

Edit: NVM, I meant 30th Apr

Since 2014, my friend introduced Geometry Dash to me on his iPad, then I played it on my own device, leading me to play for years as well as noticing how music is made. I was so into these songs by all those artists, Waterflame, DJVI, F-777, you name it. Originally I played from 2014 to 2019. A year after quitting (2020 to 2022) I did listen to a few songs, and thought about returning to GD someday.

Then in 2023 December, I finally decided to play GD again. Funny I played it the day after 2.2's release, without noticing. Sadly, I don't enjoy playing the game as much as I used to during my original days, but I do go there for the music. Well as of today, I only listen to classical Newgrounds stuff from 2003 to 2010. Listening to PX9, D47, Waterflame, Kid2Will, or Env makes me live like it's the 2000's, even though I never listened to those stuff until 2014. For the past few months, thanks to the songs, I'm just living like the 2000's once again, it's like being 5 or 6 years old. Please check out my faves, and you'll find hundreds of classic old 2000's beats

Years ago, I used to make music thru online sequencer, specifically from 2019-2020. You can actually make stuff and share it without an account, which is where most of my songs are posted. I did make an account afterwards, and posted songs. Now that OS is working again, I'll probably start making music there again instead of beepbox. Here is my old OS account with my own music I made long ago https://onlinesequencer.net/members/66493?start=0

Not a proper daw but close enough
